Simple Soulful Sacred

A Woman’s Guide to Clarity, Comfort and Coming Home to Herself

Simple Soulful Sacred

Simple Soulful Sacred is a guidebook for the modern woman who seeks clarity and guidance on how to live the life of her dreams, on her own terms. It's for the women of our time-the mothers, teachers, healers, light workers, dreamers, creators, leaders-who are ready to find their voice, speak their truth and own their power, whilst living life with less hustle and more flow. For modern women wanting more for their lives, it's the now age definition of having it all. Women are rising; ready to step out of the cloak of masculine traits that keep them striving for a version of success that is not their own. Ready to stop hiding their light and playing the comparison game. And ready to fully embody their feminine power. Because whilst the feminine may have been disowned and devalued for centuries, we are so done with that story now. But it's still a paradox. Because within this very rising, women are longing to step out of the noise and chaos, to live more simply. They want time and space for what's most important to them; and the comfort, consciousness and connection that often gets lost in the busyness and distractions of daily life. This book is the bridge women have been seeking. Written with the time-poor reader in mind, this book includes 200 short-form chapters, the perfect length for dipping into while commuting; during a lunch break or at the end of the day. The perfect gift, or self-gift, for women of all ages.

Sacred & Soulful Ceremonies: Celebrations for a Woman's Heart & Soul

Goddess Guidance

Now, it is your turn to set aside a special place in your house for peaceful reflection. It is your turn to provide a beautiful and special place for you to quietly enjoy your personal meditation and prayers. Sacred space is a wonderful gift I believe each person should provide for themselves and share with others in the home. Your pets will even enjoy the loving and holy feeling of your personal spot. It will become your special haven that reinforces your commitment to sit and meditate, pray, or reflect; feeling the richness of the energy and uplifting vibrations you are creating. Over time, you will begin to notice how pleasantly different this special space feels from the rest of your house. This sacred space will give you a place to go and surrender your daily concerns and eventually receive a true sense of peace and possibilities. Science has proven time and time again that everything is energy and we collect it throughout our day from multiple sources; people, buildings, clothing, etc. It affects our health, moods, and so much more. Think about the range of emotions you feel on any given day. Happy, sad, annoyed, disappointed, frustrated, the list goes on and on. You are affected by the people in your home (Or lack of people), work environment, traffic, and the people you run into just living life. If you are not careful, you can unwittingly become an emotional sponge. Constantly collecting the emotional waste of others. This is one of the reasons I am so adamant about having a place within your home where you can go to release the emotional/spiritual "trash" and reconnect with the peaceful loving energy of the Divine and all of their helpers. (i.e. Your spirit guides, angels, etc.) One of the first things you want to do when you are ready to utilize your personal sacred space is to be sure you are physically clean of any residue you may have picked up throughout your day or if you are doing your meditation/prayers in the morning before you start your day. A basic and simple ritual I recommend to my clients is taking a bath or shower when you walk in the door from work or other activity that creates stress in your life. A bath or shower is the perfect way to reset your thinking and how you when feel. And allows you to start your evening minus the chaotic feeling of the previous hours of your day. Give it a try and notice how different you feel. This book is full of ideas to help you create a magical and marvelous space for true peace of mind and unexpected blessings. Have fun with this information and be sure to share this wisdom with those you feel would benefit from some real positive changes in their lives.

Feminine Mysteries in the Bible

The Soul Teachings of the Daughters of the Goddess

Feminine Mysteries in the Bible

An exploration of the repressed, esoteric feminine mysteries in the Bible through the lives of four women, all archetypes of the sacred prostitute • Shows how these four archetypal women represent the four stages of development of soul consciousness • Reveals how the fear of the power of the sacred prostitute led to a rejection of female sexuality and a destructive dualistic notion of men and women • Explains how the dogma of the Immaculate Conception represents the repression of the divine feminine in Christianity In Feminine Mysteries in the Bible, Ruth Rusca unveils sacred mysteries of the feminine and the alchemical relationship of the male and female forces at the heart of the Judeo-Christian tradition. Drawing on over 30 years of research, she explores four archetypal women in the Bible: Tamar, the sacred prostitute; Rahab, the meretrix; Ruth, who redeems the soul; and Bathsheba, the daughter of the Goddess. These women--sacred prostitutes one and all--represent the indestructible feminine life force, the wisdom of the Goddess, and the transformative power of the soul, and they symbolize the four stages of the development of soul consciousness. Mary, mother of Jesus, is the quintessence of these four women, but Rusca shows that the dogma of the Immaculate Conception has repressed the significance of Mary and subverted the divine feminine in Christianity due to the church’s fear of women and their life-giving energy. These women pass an imperishable feminine life force from generation to generation, and understanding their lives creates a path to overcoming the destructive tendencies of dualistic “male-female” thinking--a duality that profanes feminine sexuality and mysteries rather than revering and celebrating them.

The Sufferings of Young Werther: A New Translation

The Sufferings of Young Werther: A New Translation

"A highly readable, sensitive, and lively Werther. Corngold is both faithful to the German and true to the demands of a modern English text" —Jeremy Adler, Times Literary Supplement A masterpiece of European imagination, The Sufferings of Young Werther is the classic Sturm und Drang tale of youthful angst and tragedy. The acclaimed translator Stanley Corngold brings new passion and precision to Goethe's timeless novel of obsessive love and madness in this magnificent new translation. Goethe's themes of unrequited love, the pain of rejection, deepening despair, and their tragic consequences are as relevant today as when the novel was first published in 1774. His hugely influential novel informed the writing of, among others, Franz Kafka and Thomas Mann. In translating The Sufferings of Young Werther, Corngold follows the German text closely, never knowingly using a word that was not current in English at the time the novel was written and yet maintaining a modern grace and flair. The result is an eagerly awaited translation that speaks to our time through the astonishing liveliness of Goethe's language—as well through the translator's own.
