The Road That Leads to No Answers is a poetry book based on true life experiences. In this journey that we call life, we exhibit so many different emotions and it is those emotions that shape who we are today. With this piece of work, I wanted to put it all out there and take the reader through my emotional journey. I wanted people to see, hear, taste, smell, what I did, and show it from a gay, black mans perspective.
Are you living with questions, such as…“How can I be free from guilt and shame?”… “How do I shift my thinking from the negative to the positive?” and “Why do I feel as though God doesn’t love me anymore?” “Answers to Our Everyday Questions,” will teach you how to find God's answers, to the everyday questions that attempt to keep us in a place of bondage. Are you facing a difficult time in your life and all you seem to be filled with are questions that have no answers? In “Answers to Our Everyday Questions,” you will find 35 questions and answers that are answered in devotional form. Within each of the 35 devotions, you will receive a Bible reading that is based on each question, along with quotes and finally…the answer to the question, which are short and to the point devotions. Come and truly experience a book that can replace discouragement and deep, dark moments of despair, with Biblical answers that can help us to connect more deeply with God, rather than the problems and questions we face in life. “Answers to Our Everyday Questions” can be read as daily devotionals or daily readings and will become one of the best inspirational books; that will help you to discover biblical answers that will keep your mind and heart free, from the questions that Satan attempts to use, as a means of keeping us in bondage.
It's K.J.'s junior year in the small town of West End, Montana, and whether she likes it or not, things are different this year. Over the summer, she turned from the blah daughter of a hunting and fishing guide into a noticeably cuter version of the outdoor loner. Normally, K.J. wouldn't care less, but then she meets Virgil, whose mom is studying the controversial wolf packs in nearby Yellowstone Park. And from the moment Virgil casts a glance at her from under his shaggy blond hair, K.J. is uncharacteristically smitten. Soon, both K.J. and Virgil are spending a lot of their time watching the wolves (and each other), and K.J. begins to see herself and her town in a whole new light.

For the many inspired by Anthony DeStefano's A Travel Guide to Heaven -a remarkable tour of the pleasures God has in store for us in the next and everlasting life-more inspiration is here in A TRAVEL GUIDE TO LIFE, offering an enlightening tour of the kind of deeply meaningful and happy life we can live here on earth. DeStefano outlines the path that can lead each and every one of us to renewed faith, understanding and fulfillment. With simplicity, honesty and a personal and practical look at the challenges God places before us, he outlines a reassuring and hopeful framework for living the life God has designed for us all ... even if we're not sure (yet) that we're true believers. DeStefano offers hope and optimism to everyone-committed Christians as well as struggling doubters, agnostics and even atheists-whether we've lived exemplary lives or are sinners who've lost all hope, whether we're struggling to keep a roof overhead and food on the table or are seemingly successful and surrounded by material wealth. This frank and inspiring guide incorporates that crucial element so often missing from other self-help and personal development books about living a happy life: spirituality and a living, working faith in God. Clear and basic "Lifetime Principles" are at its heart, to be followed whenever we are ready to begin, no matter the lives we've lived, no matter the baggage we carry, no matter the faith we've had (or lacked) up until now: Accept yourself as one person - body, mind and spirit, all connected and interrelated - the way God created you. Make a decision to start over - you can do it any time, on one tiny part of life or everything in it - and begin living the way God intends. Take action - start with just one small step and each successive one will be easier - following the example God gave us as Jesus moved from infancy to manhood and wisdom, His momentum growing step by step. Put God first - most importantly of all - wholeheartedly if you can, or hesitatingly if your heart still harbors doubt. DeStefano's personal no-holds-barred yet joyful style is always positive, always encouraging. Travelers who take this incredible journey with him will come to truly understand that when we take up the crosses in our lives - the whole of our lives, the good and the not-so-good - and follow God, He will transform it all, making everything brand new and granting us the strength, peace and happiness for which we yearn. So take heart. Take hold of the powerful path open to you on the pages of A TRAVEL GUIDE TO LIFE. And take your place in God's happy universe, living out the humble requests asked in the prayer taught by Jesus Himself: "...Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."
Since the time of pre-history, carpetmakers tie intricate knots to form carpets for the court of the Emperor. These carpets are made from the hairs of wives and daughters; they are so detailed and fragile that each carpetmaker finishes only one single carpet in his entire lifetime. This art descends from father to son, since the beginning of time itself. But one day the empire of the God Emperor vanishes, and strangers begin to arrive from the stars to follow the trace of the hair carpets. What these strangers discover is beyond all belief, more than anything they could have ever imagined... Brought to the attention of Tor Books by Orson Scott Card, this edition of The Carpet Makers contains a special introduction by Orson Scott Card.
