The diseases are the result of our past karmas and indicated by weak and afflicted planets. This can be easily understood by an astrologer. Therefore every book on astrology has discussed the diseases and yogas for these diseases are scattered throughout the astrological literature. Some of these Yogas have been compiled in this book for the intelligent readers with the observations and experiences of author. Author has used the astrology for the purpose of diagnosis as other laboratory tests, MRI and CAT SCAN etc. It gave good results to understand whether the chronic diseases are curable or not. Moreover it has helped to understand the time period of onset of the disease which no other science can explain. Therefore astrology is science of sciences. One must be careful while predicting diseases because so many factors are involved in prediction. Only the yoga for disease is not sufficient. If the yoga is aspected by benefic planets, the results will be nullification of malefic influence. The disease depends on the strength of the disease producing planets. Even if a disease may be indicated from a house from lagna but from Moon and navamsha lagna the same house is strong and lord is fortified, the malefic influence may get cancelled. Therefore while judging one must consider the house, lord of house and karaka of the house, rashish where the lord of house is posited i.e. dispositor, and navamshesh, the lord of house in navamsha chart where the lord of the house is posited, and relationship in navamsha chart between lagna lord and lord of the house into consideration from lagna, Moon, navamsha lagna and nakshatra of the planet in which he is posited. One must take into consideration the nature and qualities of the planets causing the disease; functional benefic or malefic to the lagna house in which they are posited. The benefic planet will certainly cause less harm than the malefic planet. The relationship between the two planets also affects the disease producing capacity. The relationship is also natural and functional. The aspect and conjunction of the planets should also be taken into consideration. The retrograde malefic planet is more powerful in causing diseases than the normal malefic planet. The retrograde benefic planet does not protect the native. When a benefic planet is lord of maraka house and posited in that house, it becomes strong maraka planet. Keeping the above factors into consideration we can predict the timing of onset of diseases with the help of dasha system and Gochar. The most common dasha system employed is Vimshottari dasha system. Still we can divided the timing of diseases into: 1.Yogas present in the horoscope 2. Dasha/bhukti/Paratyantar dasha 3. Transit (Gochar) 4. Horary All these factors have been discussed in this book in detail.
A new book on Jyotisha Astrology: Its experimental proof in cell biology and the science behind it! Unbelievable? Could you possibly imagine a book that provided a scientific proof of astrology? One that not only tells the story of many scientific experiments testing and verifying astrological predictions, but which also provides a full physical theory of the science behind it? In other words: a book that examines astrology on a full scientific basis? The Science of Medical Astrology: The Experimental Proof of Jyotisha does exactly that. Written by a rare combination of supremely skilled individuals, one a top expert in veterinary science, with a reputation that takes him for private consultations all over India, and the other a scientist with top qualifications from two of the world’s best scientific universities, a Master’s in Natural Sciences from the UK’s University of Cambridge, and a PhD from M.I.T., partly directed by a famous Nobel laureate in physics. Rameshrao Narayan PhD and Alex Hankey PhD are the authors of this extraordinary text. As a young vet from Bangalore, Rameshrao Narayan refused to accept a Jyotishi’s warnings of a nearly fatal accident. Over the next three years, as he lay in bed recovering, he learned India’s ancient system of Jyotisha astrology. As luck would have it, Professor Alex Hankey, who directs PhD research at the S-VYASA Yoga University, met Rameshrao and agreed to become his PhD guide on the very day that he joined the university. The book is an outgrowth of Rameshrao’s insights and PhD research combined with Alex’s scientific skills. It tells a simple story: first experiments on vaccination of sheep and goats were compromised by a deadly storm that killed a third of the flock. Resulting data were problematic. Friendship with the Director of the Institute producing veterinary vaccines for all Karnataka led Rameshrao to embark on a new series of experiments, where predictions were made about the success of such production processes. Very clear results were obtained: Jupiter and the Moon supported life, while Rahu, the North Node of the Moon, opposed it. Solar eclipses had even stronger inimical effects than Rahu. Rameshrao’s research was much acclaimed and won him the Best Research in Conference Award at the WAIRCO Conference in Colombo in 2013. Alex developed a theory combining complexity biology and quantum astrophysics that India’s greatest living physicist could not fault. The rest is history, compellingly narrated in the book.

Written for astrologers and healers, this book offers a comprehensive approach to the subject of medical astrology. For illustration purposes, the author uses the charts of patients from her healing practice, as well those of celebrities. Concepts such as lunar days, Pars of Disease and Health, fixed stars in medical astrology, the influence of Black Moon and a little-known planet-Proserpina-are introduced. By following the guidance this book offers, readers will be able to understand how the human body works from an astrological point of view, how to direct every zodiacal sign toward healthier life choices, and how to prepare and read a medical chart. A detailed list of astrological patterns is provided for the diagnosis of illness, and a great deal of attention is given to preventive measures and the use of herbs and energy healing. Herbalists will also find this book helpful because it shows how to increase the healing power of plants through the application of optimal hours and planetary cycles.

'And God said, "Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to separate the day from the night; and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and years."' Genesis 1: 14 Astrology, the notion that the stars and planets hold significance for human life, exists in most cultures. It is evident in Stone Age lunar calendars dating back to 30,000 BCE. Today, 90 per cent of Indians consult astrologers about their forthcoming marriages while over 50 per cent of people in the West read their horoscopes in newspapers or magazines. How has this pre-Christian, pre-scientific view of the cosmos survived to the present day and what is its enduring appeal? Astrology's techniques and philosophical foundations are complex and there is no single tradition. Astrology may be seen as science, art, religion, craft or superstition. For most adherents it is either a path to self-understanding or an organizing principle that helps give purpose to an otherwise meaningless world. Nicholas Campion explores astrology's past and present, its claims and appeal, and explains what astrologers really believe.
The scientific, historic, and popular basis behind the ancient art of astrology is explored in this comprehensive reference. The guide also includes a table of astrological glyphs and abbreviations, a section on casting a chart, and a chapter that explains and interprets every planet in every house and sign.
This panoramic investigation of political and historical thought extends from ancient Mesopotamian times to the present day, and raises important questions about the nature and function of political prophecy in late twentieth-century society.
The Full Moons is an exploration of the Sun the Moon, the Truth and their interrelation, and it is the culmination of over ten years of letters the author has written on esoteric astrology. A compendium of topics in esoteric astrology, it explores the emerging universal spirituality, gradually unfolding through the current decades as seen from the perspective of topical world events, even though the principles investigated therein are timeless. The twelve astrological signs each give a unique insight into various aspects of spirituality, and each one has its own story to tell on the great evolutionary path of the soul. Because the soul is so dear to us, even though the subject matter of the book is esoteric in its presentation, there is something in its pages for everyone, whether or not you have an astrological background. Ultimately, this book can be used as reference material for the times of the full moon each month and for specified times in between. The book is extensively indexed for ease of reference and it contains abundant reference material in the appendices, along with a glossary of esoteric terminology.
The themes of money, power, fame, and love are universal in humanity, regardless of race, or religion, or class. Whether we examine the lives of the rich or the poor, the powerful or the ordinary, the famous or the unknown, these topics crop up again and again. Whats more, most ordinary people believed that the rich, famous, and powerful lived easier lives. History tells us, however, that this is not frequently the case. In Money, Power, and Fame in Astrology, author Au Yong Chee Tuck considers this notion by examining the birth charts of several well-known people using the elements of Chinese astrology and relating them to the events of their lives. Au Yong presented the lives and charts of figures as diverse as musician Xavier Cugat, actress Shirley MacLaine, and politician Adolf Hitler. His collection offered a detailed survey of the struggles and achievements in their lives and how astrology aided or hindered them along with astrological charts for each person.
